About Me, Dr Helen Bibby
My work in education spans for over 30 years, initially in primary education before specialising in the early years and special educational needs. I have worked as both, Early Years Advisory and Nurture Group Teachers, an Early Years Area SENCo and Foundation Consultant, and as a school SENDCo.
My particular interests have included exploring the significant differences in how children think and process information, which in turn influences how they learn; in addition to how sensory processing can impact upon how children learn and interact with others and their learning environments. Recently, I have developed a social communication and sensory integration learning environment using my programme ‘Face, Body and Voice’ for children on the Autistic Spectrum.
